BioScotland 2014 is your opportunity to develop new business contacts with people, companies and organisations operating in the following Bio and Health based areas of technology:

BioScotland 2014 is being organised by The Allancia Group in conjunction with the University of Strathclyde, as part of the University of Strathclyde’s ‘Engage with Strathclyde’ week of events 

The event will seek to provide a platform for delegates to meet like minded people and discuss ideas and exchanges possible solutions while building strong collaborations and business connections for the future.    
The morning of the event will include a number of presentations on the opportunities and issues facing the growth of the Bio related sectors in Scotland.  The late morning and all afternoon will feature an opportunity for each delegate to take part in up to 10 x 20 minute 1-to-1 'partnering' meetings which will encourage business contacts. There will also be a supplier exhibition display area and a series of Workshops / Company 'Showcase' Presentations.
Who is the event aimed at ? The event will bring together industry and academic professionals together with support service providers from across Scotland and the UK BioTech and life science sectors.  The event will be of interest to anyone involved in the Bio based sectors listed above. 
Typical delegates will include representatives of companies and organisations working in these areas of technology, together with industry specialists, researchers and academics who would like to offer their products and services to other like minded contacts in this important and growing sector of the Northern economy.
Why should you attend ?  To make new contacts and find potential customers, suppliers or research partners.
How much does it cost ?   The delegate registration fee will be £70. (Please note that there is no VAT this year).  Please note that there is a special delegate rate for members of The Partners4Business Network of just £60.
